Cool Off at Caesars Palace, Las Vegas: Roman Baths and an Arctic Ice Room at QUA Spa

July 31, 2008| By:Mary Winston Nicklin

Caesars PalaceEscape the Las Vegas heat with a trip to the QUA Baths & Spa at Caesars Palace. The Colosseum, the Garden of the Gods, the lavish Octavius Tower... The world-renowned resort-casino has a lot of memorable facilities. But perhaps the most incredible and over-the-top of all is the QUA Baths & Spa, where a Tea Sommelier pairs teas with your particular spa treatment and guests can partake in "Social Spaaing" while relaxing and mingling in the Signature Roman Baths: three distinct pools varying in temperature and size. Of course the individual treatments are sumptuous as well, and run the gamut from signature stone massage to facials, from exfoliating body scrubs to signature hourglass treatments. This place is mammoth, boasting 51 treatment rooms including 3 Deluxe Couple's Studios and 7 facial rooms. Daily Candy gets a kick out of the Arctic Ice Room:

"Snowflakes" gently fall from the faux star-studded sky in the Arctic Ice Room at QUA Baths & Spa at Caesars Palace, a chilly escape from steamy Las Vegas. The scene: heated floor and benches, tiny fiber-optic lights, mint-infused air, a shaved-ice fountain, and more than 27,000 blue glass pebbles and mosaic tiles.
