Talk of the Town: Macarons-to-Go at Ducasse’s Adour Restaurant, Washington D.C.

January 4, 2010| By:Mary Winston Nicklin

Adour, St. Regis Washington DC

One taste of these colorful confections will have you swooning (and your dinner guests raving). This holiday season Adour at The St. Regis Washington D.C. launched a retail program called Macarons-à-Porter so patisserie lovers could taste Pastry Chef Fabrice Bendano's macarons both inside the restaurant and back at home. With flavors like coconut/milk chocolate, Gianduja, raspberry, and coffee/walnut, these bite-size macarons pack a flavorful punch. Coming up for Valentine's Day: a rosewater flavored macaron. Since its opening in 2008, Alain Ducasse's Adour has nabbed all kinds of awards (and media attention).
