Dine like the Commander-in-Chief at Loews Madison Hotel, Washington DC. In honor of the presidential inauguration, Chef Arnel Esposo of Palette Restaurant in the Loews Madison Hotel will offer his version of the official Inauguration Luncheon fare with a three course prix-fixe menu available at both lunch and dinner from January 10-25, 2009. Madison The Special Inauguration Menu includes Chef Esposo's interpretation of four appetizers, four entrees, and four desserts. Each dish will be attributed to a President and the year he was inaugurated. Kennedy fans will go for the cream of tomato soup with crushed popcorn. Eisenhower devotees should try the Maine Lobster Newburg, and Clintonistas will love the rosemary chicken with pecan rice, ginger carrots and broccoli. Desserts range from Reagan's cold praline souffle with raspberry sauce to Clinton's apple-cranberry brown. Politics may be divisive at times, but good food never is.
