The Magic Treehouse Comes Alive for Christmas at The Plaza New York

New York City's iconic hotel, The Plaza, is embarking on a holiday new journey with Random House Children’s Books and author Mary Pope Osborne, creator of the Magic Tree House series. This literary partnership provides boys and girls the opportunity to set off from the historic hotel to explore the Big Apple as inspired by the books.  The Magic Tree House Experience at The Plaza is pairs the hotel with the popular fiction books and the corresponding Magic Tree HouseFact Tracker—the nonfiction companions to the fiction titles—and supplemented with New York activities that bring each story to life. 

From December 1 - December 31, 2014, the focus is on the book A Ghost Tale for Christmas Time and Rags and Riches: Kids in the Time of Charles Dickens and corresponding Fact Tracker.

Each experience includes luxurious accommodations in a guest room or suite, a Plaza-specific passport for collecting stamps throughout each trip, a special Magic Tree House pin to designate explorers, and a New York City welcome amenity.
