W Hotel Boston Readies for Opening in the Theatre District

Come October 29th, Bostonians will discover "a world of wow" on the corner of Stuart and Tremont streets. W Hotels is coming to Beantown with the opening of the 235-room W Boston featuring a restaurant helmed by chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten. This is the 34th W Hotel worldwide for Starwood. The Boston Globe recently published a fabulous interview with General manager William Bunce, describing the vibe of this lifestyle hotel brand: a happening "Living Room" with floor-to-ceiling windows and a Bliss Spa opening next year. The Globe: Boston might not be ready for a W. We're not that hip.

William Bunce: They're getting there. We just kicked off Fashion Week with Fashion Boston. We held a kickoff party , and it was held in a loft space in the South End. And one notable person came up to me and made the statement of, "Oh my god, thank you so much. You've saved Boston."
