After much anticipation, The Chatwal New York opened its doors last week, the first from hotel entrepreneur Sant Singh Chatwal's new brand. The hotel's goal? To revive the elegance of old New York City and "Gotham's bygone glamor." The official website states its case boldly: "Once home to the famous Lambs Club, this landmark Stanford White-designed building is a star reborn.
