Sunset Beach: New Andre Balazs Hotel Opening May 15th

The same visionary hotelier who brought you Chateau Marmont in Hollywood (pictured) has set his sights on the shores of Shelter Island, in Long Island, New York. Andre Balazs' newest luxury property, Sunset Beach, will be opening its doors on May 15th, just in time for the summer weather. The luxury property will feature 20 guestrooms, each with their own private sundeck and sea view. There will also be a beachside French restaurant-- to offer up a memorable fine dining experience for guests. Sunset Beach promises to be classically luxurious, yet utterly original, a promising new edition to his collection of boutique hotels.
