Four Seasons Philadelphia Celebrates 25 Years of Discretion

October 2, 2008| By:K. Clare Johnson

Four Seasons PhiladelphiaIf you want top-secret luxury, stay at the Four Seasons Philadelphia. According to a recent article in the Philadelphia Inquirer, the City of Brotherly Love's luxury property is known for keeping things discrete. Twenty-five years since Four Seasons Philadelphia first opened its doors, its reputation for guarding the privacy of its guests is unparalleled. Of course, they would never tell you that. But you can ask The Rolling Stones, Paris Hilton, the Dalai Lama, Dennis Rodman, Al Gore or Michael Jackson, all of whom have (allegedly) laid their celebrity heads on the hotel's down pillows.

Four Seasons Philadelphia is also known for hanging on to its staff. 31 of the current employees were there when the doors opened. Three of the chefs have been there since the first meal was served at the Fountain Restaurant. This may in part be due to the generous benefits package and perks employees enjoy, which includes no-cost stays at Four Season's properties worldwide, including the oh-so-desirable Four Seasons Hotel George V Paris. Now that's a real benefit.
