Capella Hotels Preps for the Opening of The Setai Fifth Avenue, New York

Fans of Capella's ultra-luxury resorts will be thrilled about this one. (From Singapore to Telluride, the brand-- launched by former Ritz-Carlton exec Horst Schulze-- has taken the luxury hotel world by storm since its debut five years ago.) The latest? A joint announcement made last week by Bizzi & Partners Development and Capella Hotels and Resorts about a new hotel in midtown Manhattan. The Setai Fifth Avenue, A Capella Managed Hotel is slated to open November 1, 2010 and will be the third urban property for Capella worldwide. The 157 guest rooms are touted as "among the largest in the city" with most at 700 square feet or larger. There will also be 54 apartment suites, three penthouse apartments, and a collection of condominium residences on the tower's top floors. Facilities will include a destination restaurant, a chic bar, a spa and salon, fitness center, and meeting space. Not to mention Capella signature services like the around-the-clock attention of a Capella Personal Assistant for each guest and no check-in/check-out times.
