Announcing the JW Marriott Marquis: Miami Hotel with NBA-Approved Basketball Court

September 3, 2010| By:Mary Winston Nicklin

JW Marriott Marquis MiamiSay hello to a new brand from Marriott. Coming in October 2010: the first JW Marriott Marquis will open in downtown Miami with an incredible indoor sports complex and entertainment center featuring the Jim McLean Indoor Golf school, a virtual bowling alley (with real bowling balls and virtual pins), top-notch fitness center, spa, and an NBA approved basketball court (wow!). Housed on the 19th and 20th floors, the entertainment center promises to be jaw-droppingly impressive. The idea? To cater to the individual preferences of each guest. Billed as the "new insignia of urban integration," the new ultra-luxe brand is targeting "accomplished individuals" who have passion and lifestyle preferences. The hotel will also have a staggering amount of meeting space. A second Marquis-branded hotel is being developed for (where else?) Dubai.
