Check it out: a "$45,000 African safari trip complete with personal chef at the Lions Sands Game Preserve in South Africa, a $14,500 stay at the Monte Carlo Beach Hotel in Monaco and a rustic getaway at the Winvian Luxury Hotel in Connecticut worth $17,000." But there's a catch. Jaunted points out, "Sadly, most of the nominees won't take any of these amazing trips though. Thanks to new tax laws, if they choose to keep the bags, they have to pay taxes on the estimated value of the bag. So, instead of getting stuck with a hefty tax bill from Uncle Sam, celebs usually donate the gift bags to their favorite charities and get a tax break for the $91,000 worth of swag."
