For dining, Borsari 36 provides a gastronomic journey with a show kitchen, a window in the floor featuring views of Roman remains below, and air filled with the aromas of olive trees, fresh flowers, rosemary, sage, and basil. The chef-prepared cuisine is a modern interpretation of classic Italian traditions, including fresh grilled meats off an open barbeque, and either homemade pastas or artisinal dried pasta by Verrigna.

Just outside of Verona begins the Valpolicella wine region which stretches west to Lake Garda. Renowned for classic reds that pair well with the region's hearty cuisine, the area offers a variety of vineyards to visit, as well as rustic osterie and family-run agriturismi.
