Hotel Bardo Savannah formerly Mansion on Forsyth Park

In the Fall of 2022 the historic 126-room property began a multimillion-dollar phased transformation and expansion project, offering a new urban resort completed February 2024. The Mansion on Forsyth Park was reimagined as The Bardo, a member of Leading Hotels of the World. The Bardo has 149 guestrooms and a range of food and beverage concepts, including a main restaurant, club bar and lounge, pool restaurant and bar, lobby bar, multiple event spaces, spa and retail options.

Originally built in 1888 as a private residence for the Lewis Kayton family and converted to a hotel in 2005, the new Mansion on Forsyth Park, The Bardo, will offer a range of amenities and programming.
