Five Star Alliance has always been committed to maintain the highest standards for our customers and we wanted to advise you that we have updated our Privacy Policy and the associated Terms to be in compliance with the new European Legislation known as "GDPR".
We are being as clear and transparent as possible in issuing these revised policies. You can find detailed information regarding the data we collect, why we collect it and how we protect it on our Privacy Policy page and the Five Star Alliance Terms & Conditions. We've also spelled out the highlights in the sections below. The bottom line is that any data that you provide to us will not be used or shared in anyway that you do not expressly accept.
We took necessary steps to be fully compliant with the General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR") before May 25th, 2018. When you visit our site to complete a booking, subscribe to one of our services, or provide us with identifying data we will ask for your explicit consent to these policies.

Who has access to your information?
We will not sell or rent your information to third parties nor will we share your information with third parties for marketing purposes unless you've expressly opted-in with that vendor.
In the event of a business restructuring or reorganization, or if we are required by law to disclose your personal information to comply with or enforce a legal obligation, your personal information may be transferred to a third party. When you are using our secure online travel booking pages, your reservation and any payment is processed by a third party payment processor designated by that travel supplier. Security precautions to protect the misuse, loss, or altering of your information
