Five Star Alliance is often asked "What's the world's nicest hotel?"  Obviously, this is a question that sparks a lot of debate!  With more than 3,000 Four and Five Star properties on our site, asking us that is a bit like asking us which child is our favorite.

The people have spoken. Trip Advisor's Traveler's Choice Awards 2012 named Waldorf Astoria Chicago as the best hotel in the U.S.  They also named Dan Diego's Grand Del Mar the #1 luxury hotel.
