Situated in  the Virginia's Historic Triangle, Kingsmill Resort is nestled on land that housed a bustling Virginia plantation from 1619 through the 1800s.It was nearly the home of the first settlers to Virginia, but lost out to nearby Jamestown, because it was easier for ships to anchor there. A decade or so later, the first 300 acres of Kingsmill settled by Richard Kingsmill, a member of the Virginia Company, an organization chartered in England and charged with the founding and settlement of Virginia. Several other early colonists played a significant part in the development of Kingsmill and the growth of nearby Williamsburg.

Today Kingsmill is a AAA Four‐Diamond resort lt features one- to three-
bedroom suite accommodations with access to family-friendly amenities and three 18-hole championship golf courses. Suites with kitchens, washer/dryers, spacious living areas and multiple bedroom units are available. Kingsmill houses a 16,000 square‐foot IACC certified conference center, five on-site restaurants, fitness center and spa, indoor/outdoor pools and full service
