Set amidst the grounds of the famous Powerscourt Estate, the Powerscourt Hotel Resort & Spa offers Irish luxury in County Wicklow. Amidst manicured gardens, the Powerscourt Hotel features views of the Great Sugar Loaf Mountain across the valley. As part of the Powerscourt Estate, guests can enjoy 1,000 acres of mountains, farmland, golf courses, rivers, hillsides, and landscaped gardens. The famous terraced gardens completed in the 1860s sweep down to Dolphin Pond, and additions such the Italian Garden, Pepper Pot Tower, and Japanese Gardens were added in later years. 

Within the Powerscourt Ireland, there's a variety of dining options including the signature Sika Restaurant, which is named after the Japanese deer that were introduced to the property by Lord Powerscourt in 1860. Ideal for foodies, the Sika Restaurant has a Chef's Table with an exclusive setting, as well as a menu featuring local and seasonal ingredients.

For Afternoon Tea, the Sugar Loaf Lounge provides a Georgian parlor atmosphere with light meals and cocktails. While McGills has a traditional Irish Pub atmosphere with classic fare.

There are seven accommodation styles at the Powerscourt Hotel ranging from Classic Deluxe to the Presidential Suite with a rooftop terrace. Featuring classic Irish styling, the spacious guestrooms and suites have custom furnishings, interactive TVs, WiFi, and plush beds. Plus, marble bathrooms with recessed bathroom TVs and rainforest showers.

Adjacent to the resort is the Powerscourt Golf Club, where Powerscourt Hotel guests have access to a 36-hole championship golf course. The two courses--East Course and West Course, both provide one-of-a-kind settings within the historic Powerscourt Estate, as well as private clinics and golf lessons.

Within the Powerscourt Estate, there's access to river walks along the Dargle River, where guests can explore the pathways and woodland trails created by the Viscount of Powerscourt. Gourmet picnics can be arranged, and the concierge can assist with helping guests access the trails via foot, bicycle, or golf buggies. There's also the Newgrange Falconry, within the Powerscourt Estate providing falconry lessons and packages for tailored experiences with birds of prey.

For those interested in Ireland's woolen mill heritage, Avoca at Powerscourt House is a food hall, cafe, and boutique offering fresh-baked Irish treats, as well as Avoca's signature lamb's wool, cashmere, mohair, and angora blankets and throws. 

In the midst of County Wicklow, the Powerscourt Estate has a variety of activities to appeal to outdoor enthusiasts, including fishing at Tinnahinch (which was once owned by parliamentarian Henry Grattan), visiting the Powerscourt Waterfall which is the highest waterfall in all of Ireland at 398 feet, or horse riding at the Brennanstown Riding School.
