Hotel Le Fontanelle

Showcasing views of the countryside, Hotel Le Fontanelle is a five-star boutique resort offering modern conveniences, dedicated facilities, and gardens with enchanting panorama. The hotel's main building dates itself back to the 13th century, and the property is named after the old "fountains, sources of stone used to collect spring water."

Part of an old country estate, every single detail of the structure has been preserved to create an elegant and refined atmosphere with stunning views, fine linens, and cotto interiors. Purely of Tuscan tradition, the furniture and fittings of the hotel have been specially chosen by the owner Miss Signorina Bolfo to create extraordinary guest experiences.

Junior Suites have private outdoor space, beamed ceilings, and terracotta floors, reminiscent of Tuscan farmhouses. For dining, the gourmet restaurant La Colonna, is headed by the popular chef, Daniele Canella, who is recognized for creating menus striking a balance between traditional and innovative refinement. Guests enjoy authentic Italian cuisine while gazing at the rolling Chianti Hills from the Belvedere Terrace. The Al Fresco Pool Bar, located in the garden by the outdoor pool is the ideal place to enjoy during the hot summer days a lighter but traditional lunch menu in a completely revisited formula.

While the new winery, Vallepicciola, with its surrounding 640 acres, offers some of the finest Chianti Classico as well as other esteemed wines produced with international grape varieties.
