Very good hotel. Awesome vibe. Great room.
Offering panoramic views of the city, The LINE DC is a hotel collaboration with the Sydell Group, Chef Spike Gjerde and Corey Polyoka of Woodberry Kitchen, and Chef Erik Bruner-Yang of Maketto. Set in the historic First Church of Christ Scientist building, the luxury hotel is centrally located in the Adams Morgan neighborhood. Renovated to preserve the building's history, the hotel has 60-foot vaulted ceilings, millwork, brass detailing, and large copper entry doors.
The hotel's 220 oversized guest rooms and suites provide sweeping Washington, D.C. views. Furnished with casual, yet modern decor, rooms have sitting areas, hanging pendant lights, and a color palette of whites and cream with original artwork and photography providing accent colors. There's also plush mattresses, minibars with local and international snacks, plus large flat-screen TVs with the ability to stream personal content. Bathrooms have handmade bath products, bathrobes, and slippers.
There are three restaurants, two bars, and a coffee shop. Featuring chef-created dishes, the dining, room service, and catering are managed by Chef Spike Gjerde and Corey Polyoka of Woodberry Kitchen, as well as Erik Bruner-Yang of Maketto.
For recreation, the property offers a 24-hour fitness center, along with an indoor pool, steam room, and sauna. In addition, The LINE has the Full Service Radio community radio station that broadcasts live from the hotel's lobby.
