Excellent

Excellent wellness hotel. Great rooms and fantastic service. Awesome vibe.

Tierra Patagonia Hotel & Spa sits on a bluff where the South American pampa meets Lake Sarmiento. The building is immersed in the landscape and emerges from the hillside. The award winning architecture complements the flow of the geology in this privileged location and showcases the magnificent views of the Torres del Paine National Park, declared a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve in 1978.

The hotel is located amid the blue waters of Chile's Northern Patagonia, on a mythical island, dotted with picturesque fishing villages. The beauty of this destination is as much in the landscape as it is in the island residents with their deep-rooted culture and timeless traditions. In true Tierra style, the lodge's distinctive architecture is in-step with its breathtaking surroundings and comes complete with its own boat for navigating the inland waters. With only 12 guest rooms, the property continues in the footsteps of Tierra Atacama and Tierra Patagonia by offering exceptional experiences and personalized service to its guests.

Puerto Natales is the capital of both the commune of Natales and the province of Ultima Esperanza, one of the four provinces that make up the Magallanes and Antartica Chilena Region in the southernmost part of Chile. It is the final passenger port of call for the Navimag ferry sailing from Puerto Montt into the Senoret Channel as well as the primary transit point for travelers to Torres del Paine National Park, Chile. Twenty four kilometers (15 mi) northwest of Puerto Natales, along the flanks of the Cerro Benitez Mountains, lies the Cueva del Milodon Natural Monument. A museum in nearby Punta Arenas. The Nao Victoria was one of the five ships (and the only one that survived) that sailed in the Spanish Armada de Molucca expedition which discovered the meeting point the Atlantic and Pacific oceans. A realistic, technically and historically accurate replica of the ship commemorates the expedition and allows visitors to experience the historic voyage. Companies offering boat trips through the Patagonian fjords depart from Puerto Natales Pier and take tourists to view the region's many icebergs.
