The Whitby Hotel's 86 individually-designed bedrooms and suites have floor-to-ceiling windows, contemporary English style, and interiors designed by Kit Kemp, recognized for her way or arranging spaces with a carefree and colorful spirit. Many of the rooms have private terraces with views of the Manhattan skyline, as well as Bose Soundlink systems, Tivoli Radios, Samsung Smart TVs, Blu-ray DVD players, and bathrooms with granite or marble, dual sinks, walk-in showers, and RikRak luxury bath products. The suites have free standing baths, and the hotel's top floor is dedicated to the Whitby Suite with two master bedrooms, drawing room, and two furnished terraces.
The Whitby Bar & Restaurant has a 30-foot pewter bar and upholstered banquettes. The airy room has warehouse-style windows leading to an orangery with vaulted ceilings and skylight. Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, the restaurant also serves traditional Afternoon Tea.
