Terms and Conditions
Reservations must be made through Five Star Alliance under the “5 Star Signature Package" or "Best Available Rate." Daily breakfast for two is provided per bedroom (up to a $60 credit at Catalina Kitchen or in-room dining). A $100 resort credit is included once per stay. Also included is a welcome amenity. Upgrade, early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability at time of check-in and departure.

Magnificently poised along one of Southern California's most scenic and coveted coastlines, Terranea is set on the spectacular Palos Verdes Peninsula, a stunning and irreplaceable site with unobstructed views overlooking the Pacific Ocean and Catalina Island. The resort is 20 miles south of Los Angeles International Airport and 20 miles north of Long Beach Airport.

Driving Directions from the 405 Freeway: * Exit Hawthorne Blvd. * Turn South onto Hawthorne Blvd. - 12.8 miles * Turn Left onto Palos Verdes Drive West (Do not turn on Palos Verdes Drive North) - 1.2 miles * Turn Right onto Terranea Way (Discovery Center will be on the left just inside the entrance)

Designed to reveal the resort's dramatic outdoor panoramas, Terranea's meeting facilities encompass 135,000 square feet of conference and event space. The 60,000 square feet of indoor space features an 18,000-square-foot Palos Verdes Grand Ballroom, an additional 6,600-square-foot Marineland Ballroom, the Catalina Room and 15 breakout rooms. Many of the meeting rooms feature direct ocean views and outdoor terraces with dramatic vistas.

5,000-square-foot fitness facility offers every opportunity to sustain an existing exercise program or create a new one with the help of one of the wellness experts on staff.
Child Programs
Whether competing in a friendly game of bocce ball, exploring tide pools, playing golf on the family-friendly Links at Terranea, kayaking along the beach cove, zooming down the Resort pool's waterslide or stargazing at night by the outdoor fire pits, the resort offers fun for the whole family. Tide Pool Adventure Camp for Kids is also available.
Pets Allowed
Maximum of 2 dogs, must sign the pet policy form on check-in and pay an additional pet fee. Usage of Pet Rooms is limited and based upon availability. In order to guarantee availability, notification of pet's arrival must be received at the time of booking in the Special Request field. Dogs are not permitted in the Bungalow, Casita or Villa accommodations.
Pool Outdoor
Four heated swimming pools include the Resort pool with 140-foot waterslide, Vista Pool, Spa pool and adults-only Cielo Point. Also - Children's splash zone.
Spa Facility
50,000 square foot spa and fitness center complete with 25 treatment rooms and an oceanfront yoga and Pilates studio.
Beach
the Cove, a beach enclave near the resort pool, is both a marine and geological masterpiece! Carved by nature, the Cove is an ideal place for resort guests to watch for dolphins at play, sculpt a sand castle or simply soak in the sun.
Biking, Mountain
For cycling enthusiasts, the rolling hills and scenery of the peninsula attract riders from all around California.
Golf Driving Range
Trump National Golf Club is 3 miles away and offers a driving range, practice chipping and putting greens and restaurant.
Golfing
The Links at Terranea offers a dramatic 9-hole, par-three oceanfront golf course, with stunning views of the Pacific and Catalina Island. This is no ordinary 9-hole par-3 course; rather, it is a collection of 9 great par-3 holes, masterfully routed and integrated with each other and the natural surroundings.
Hiking
A network of walking and hiking trails threads through the resort and ties into the Palos Verdes Peninsula trail system.
Horseback Riding
First-class equestrian facilities and horseback riding opportunities are within a few minutes of Terranea.
Scuba Diving
Ocean activities such as scuba diving, snorkeling and swimming, along with trips to Catalina Island are easily arranged.
