Cafe Royal Hotel

Situated in the heart of central London, the Hotel Café Royal has reopened as a luxury five star hotel. Paying homage to the history of the building, grand historic areas have been sensitively restored and a selection of restaurants, bars, and event spaces are a tribute to the property's rich heritage of hospitality and dining excellence.

The iconic London landmark now has 160 contemporary guest rooms, including 54 suites and seven signature suites. Accommodations feature either fumed English oak panels or rusticated Portland stone, along with Italian Carrara marble bathrooms with walk-in rainfall showers and mirror TVs, and many bathrooms have deep soaking marble bathtubs. Most suites offer picturesque London views of Regent Street, Piccadilly Circus, St. James, or Westminster. The variety of suites cater to guests looking for either modern features with cutting-edge technology or classic interiors such as the Elizabethan style Tudor Suite, the imperial Royal Suite, or the circular Dome Penthouse with two private terraces offering breathtaking Mary-Poppins-views over London’s rooftops, Big Ben, and Westminster.

Continuing its celebrated legacy, Hotel Café Royal offers a selection of restaurants and bars. Laurent at Café Royal, located in the heart of the luxury hotel, is the new grill and sushi bar, while the Green Bar is the perfect place to relax and unwind with a cocktail. The Oscar Wilde Lounge, formerly the legendary Grill Room, originally established in 1865, has been exquisitely restored to its original Louis XVI detailing and is now the place to enjoy Afternoon Tea followed by a light menu in the evening. Fronting Regent Street, Papillon, revives the European tradition of café culture.

The hotel's latest offering, The Club at Café Royal was conceived to ensure that the Regent Street venue becomes once again a crucible for writers, artists, poets, musicians. The Club celebrates a long legacy of famed patrons as it welcomes the return of today's leaders and stars from the literary, art, and fashion worlds.

There's also the Akasha Holistic Wellbeing Centre, an urban retreat leading a new concept of wellbeing, with a state-of-the-art-gym, large lap pool, Watsu pool, sauna and Hammam/steam room, along with a range of signature treatments and wellbeing specialists that marry innovative Western practices with ancient Eastern traditions.
