Excellent city hotel. Awesome rooms and service in a great location. Awesome vibe.
The Assila, a Rocco Forte Hotel, is a modern luxury hotel situated within two buildings across a central courtyard, accessible via a private driveway. Centrally located within the port city of Jeddah on the Red Sea, the contemporary hotel combines European design with Arabic influences. Plus, the hotel has a gallery with almost 2,000 original pieces by Saudi Arabian artists, curated by art consultant Nora Alissa.
The Assila Hotel has 47 rooms, 63 suites, and 94 fully-serviced residential suites. Designed by Martin Brudnizki and Olga Polizzi, accommodations have clean and modern architectural lines, with Middle Eastern influences, bespoke furniture, and fabrics in warm, rich colors and Arabic motifs. Guest rooms have high ceilings, full-height wooden doors, limestone floors, marble and mosaic bathrooms. Rooms are furnished with king-sized beds and large work desks, some have twin beds. All have comfortable seating areas, plus hand-woven rugs and tapestries that celebrate the region's rich history of crafts, and artworks by local artists celebrate modern Saudi Arabian art.
Ranging from casual to elegant, the hotel has five dining options. Restaurant Pampas and Restaurant Twenty Four feature fine dining, and Aubergine is an Arabic-Mediterranean restaurant with outdoor dining. Il Caffe is open 24 hours with a relaxed atmosphere, and Coco’Ba is a chocolaterie and bakery.
The Assila Spa offers the Rocco Forte Rituals, Fitness, Nourish and Health programs. There's a variety of beauty and skin treatments available that utilize exclusive organic products, plus two fitness centers with views of the city, two squash courts, and a rooftop pool with health-focused snacks and refreshments.
