Once a grand shooting lodge, The Torridon enjoys one of the most impressive coastal positions in the Scottish Highlands. The building has been lovingly restored to its original splendour, and the 19 bedrooms are all individually designed with fine furnishings and fabrics, decorated to ensure the utmost in comfort and luxury. Many have fantastic views across the loch to the mountains.
The kitchen prides itself on tradition. Award-winning chef Jason ‘Bruno’ Birkbeck produces excellent menus and is highly commended by some of the top cookery writers in the world. He transforms fresh, local produce into simple yet delicious dishes, earning The Torridon 3 rosettes from the AA in 2011.
The hotel is in one of the most idyllic and romantic locations in the Highlands, and an ideal venue for an intimate wedding celebration. The ceremony can take place either in the library or the drawing room or even on the lawn, and the evening can be rounded off with Ceilidh dancing.
The Torridon offers a special bonus in the form of Torridon Activities - a chance to experience kayaking, climbing and a host of other adventure activities.

Location Summary
The Torridon though seemingly isolated in the remoteness of the western Highlands of Scotland, is in fact easily reached within a few hours of Edinburgh, Glasgow and London via Inverness. Whether you are travelling by air, train, or road, we look forward to welcoming you. Alternatively some of our guests prefer for a variety of reasons to leave and depart by helicopter which we would be happy to advise about.

Directions To The Property From - Only Hotel On A-896 West Of Inverness. Do Not Turn Off To Torridon Village, And Hotel Is 1.5 Miles Past This Turn Off. Please Allow 1.5 hr For The Drive To The Hotel From Inverness. Recommended Travel Is Hire Car. Kinlochewe 10 Miles, ullapool 50 Miles, lochcarron 20 Miles,achnasheen 20 Miles,inverness 65 Miles, fort William 70 Miles, Glasgow/edin 200 Miles.
