Blythswood Square Hotel
Overlooking a private garden square, the hotel's Georgian townhouses were originally home to wealthy merchants and were later turned into the club headquarters for The Royal Scottish Automobile Club. Today, The Principal Blythswood Square Hotel has been spruced up for the 21st century, with a multi-million pound refurbishment that has refreshed all of the existing guest rooms and suites with an elegant new look and the launch of the 1,900 sq. feet two-bedroom Penthouse Suite with its own private balcony, media room and dining area. Reservations must be made through Five Star Alliance under the “5 Star Signature Package." A full breakfast is provided for each guest daily in the restaurant. A 50 GBP food and beverage credit is provided per room, per stay (not combinable, not valid on room rate, no cash value if not used in full). Location Summary
Blythswood Square has been a prestigious address since the early 19th century. There is a fantastic variety of attractions, museums, galleries, shops, festivals and concerts to be enjoyed throughout the year and with an integrated transport system in and around the city, exploring really couldn't be easier.

Directions to Hotel
By Train: Glasgow has two railway stations: Central and Queen Street. Central Station is the main station, situated on Gordon Street - half a mile away and is approximately 3 minutes by taxi to the hotel. Queen Street Station is located next to George Square and is also 3 minutes by taxi.

Driving From West/Airport: Travelling West on M8 towards Glasgow (and Edinburgh), take Junction 19 toward Clydebank/A198/Anderston , at the fork in keep left to continue toward Pitt Street, at next fork keep right. Turn left at Pitt Street and then right at West George Street. Take the 2nd left onto Blythswood Square, and the hotel is on the right hand side of the square.

Driving From East: Travelling East on M8 towards Glasgow, take Junction 18 on the right onto A804. Slight left onto Sauchiehall Street and take your 3rd right onto Pitt Street. Take your 4th left onto West Regent Street and follow onto Blythswood Square, and the hotel is facing you.
