Immersed in the heart of Tuscany and just few miles from the historic centre of Florence, Villa la Massa is set on the bank of the Arno River with over 20 acres of lush gardens full of lemon trees and olive groves. The 37 accommodations are divided in three ochre and pink coloured villas overlooking the romantic Chianti hills and a magnificent countryside landscape. The hotel’s private shuttle service runs daily to and from Ponte Vecchio, allowing the guests to enjoy the serenity of the Villa and unwind after a long day of touring or shopping in Florence.

Two superb suites: the Presidential Suite with a private garden and a dining gazebo and the new Parco Suite offering a spectacular view of olive trees and the Arno, could be the occasion to live a magical fairytale atmosphere. Dining at Il Verrocchio Restaurant is a unique experience as no other hotel in Florence has a terrace overlooking the Arno where a candelit dinner will make the experience a highlight of your trip . Two other unique spots on the property include Bar Mediceo, under the 19the century frescoes and the 14th century wine cellar, for wine tastings and paired dinner.

Among the many activities, you may enjoy a morning walk to collect vegetables and herbs with Chef Andrea followed by a cooking lesson the modern fitness centre, wine therapy treatments a relaxing day , or a visit to the neary tennis and golf clubs.
