Designed by Shanghai Huadu Architect Design Co., Sunrise Kempinski Hotel, Beijing embodies the shape of the rising sun and symbolizes harmony, unity and infinity. From a side angle view, the hotel building is shaped like a scallop which represents Fortune in the Chinese culture. The front view is that of the "Rising Sun" – symbolic of the fast- developing economy of China.

Located alongside the picturesque Yanqi Lake with magnificent views of Yanshan Mountain, and the Mutianyu Great Wall, the hotel is 45KM north of Beijing Capital International Airport, 60KM north of Beijing’s city centre and 25KM from Mutianyu Great Wall.

Directions to Hotel
From Beijing International airport Terminal 1 & 2 to the Sunrise Kempinski Hotel and Yanqi Island. need about 1 hour driving and total distance is around 56 kilometers (35 miles) . Directory to the Sunrise Kempinski Hotel and Island from Beijing international airport - Terminal 1 & Terminat 2: 1. Drive into the huoyunbeilu (Airport freight north road) then select the Airport express way north line direction from Terminal 2. 2. About 15 minutes driving, approach the Jingcheng express way at Beiqijia Bridge; select the Jingcheng express way direction. 3. About 25 minutes driving, 43 kilometers (27 miles) go straight by JingCheng express way; select the yanqi lake and taking exit 14 off the high way. You will arrival at Huarong district. Out of toll station and choosing left side road and taking viaduct (Yanqi express way) to Fanqilu directon. 4. About 20 minutes driving, you will be arrived at Yanqi lake. First, you will see Yanqi international conference center on your right side then you will see one crossroads (traffic lights), crossing the road and driving 600 meters you will arrival at Yanqi hotel in island. Turn right from this crossroads, driving 400 meters the Sunrise Kempinski hotel in front of you.

About 45 minutes driving take exit 14 off the high way. You will arrival at Huarong district. Out of toll station and choosing left side road and taking viaduct (Yanqi express way) to Fanqilu directon. 2. About 20 minutes driving, you will be arrived at Yanqi lake. First, you will see Yanqi international conference center on your right side then you will see one crossroads (traffic lights), crossing the road and driving 600 meters you will arrival at Yanqi hotel in island. Turn right from this crossroads, driving 400 meters boutique hotels will be in front of you.
