Where to Eat in Zurich: Baur au Lac’s Newly Renovated Restaurants

The venerable hotel on the shores of Lake Zurich has been hard at work on a makeover during the last year. A founding member of Luxury Hotels of the World, Baur au Lac has transformed its celeb-haunted restaurants with beautiful updates. Taking advantage of Baur au Lac's "city-center yet pastoral setting," the Restaurant Pavillon now welcomes diners year-round to ogle the views of the park and lake. Starchitect Pierre-Yves Rochon-- who just worked his magic in renovating the French Riviera's Grand Hotel du Cap-Ferrat-- was the brains behind the creative redesign. The outdoor Terrasse has also been renovated into a chic spot (the place to be for people-watching in the summer months).
