What’s Hot in the Hague: Hotel Des Indes, Starwood Luxury Collection

November 13, 2008| By:Mary Winston Nicklin

Hotel Des Indes, The HagueHot off the press. The Starwood Luxury Collection just announced a new addition: the Hotel Des Indes, the landmark property in The Hague, The Netherlands (formerly a Le Meridien hotel), recently renovated by acclaimed architect Jacques Garcia, the mastermind behind the Hotel Costes in Paris, the Hotel Victor in South Beach, and Jean-Georges Vongerichten's Spice Market. Overlooking the city's main square, the 92-room hotel has played host to royalty and celebs since its debut in 1881. There's plenty of Old World grandeur on display in this landmark property, now updated with discrete modern technology and exceptional contemporary amenities: the 315-square-meter Health Club (with personal trainers on call), indoor swimming pool, and spa featuring Payot products.
