What’s Hot in London: New Bar Boulud at Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park

Mandarin Oriental Hyde ParkCome May 2010, the Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park will be home to the brand spanking new Bar Boulud featuring the cuisine of award-winning chef Daniel Boulud. The bistro menu will include signature terrines and pâtés made on site, and the wine menu will focus on Burgundy and the Rhône Valley. This will be the UK debut for the Michelin three-starred chef, and will follow the format of the acclaimed Bar Boulud in New York.

To quote Luxury Travel Advisor, "London's food scene has been exploding recently, throwing off the cliché of English food. Chef Heinz Beck opened Apsleys, his first restaurant outside of Italy. The Ivy continues to ride high, and Chef John Campbell will lead food and beverage at Dorchester Collection's Coworth Park, a new country house estate and spa set to open in May 2010."
