The Peninsula Bangkok to Open New Spa

The riverside Peninsula Bangkok epitomizes luxury. And with its legendary service, excellent fitness center, and panoramic views of the city and Chao Phraya River, it's no wonder the hotel's received so many accolades. And now the stunning hotel, with its signature wave-shaped design, is set to get a little more glamorous. Come December 1, the Peninsula will boast a new spa, created in partnership with ESPA spa designers, housed in a three-story colonial style building surrounded by lush gardens. What's in store? 14 treatment rooms, two double suites and two VIP suites, all with Jacuzzis, state-of-the-art treatment beds, and relaxation beds with i-Pod access. The VIP suites will offer rain showers, floor-to-ceiling windows and a balcony with excellent views of the river. There will also be outdoor pools and an Asian Tea Lounge. Via Travel Weekly
