Martini Masterclass at Dukes Hotel London

June 9, 2009 By:Mary Winston Nicklin

Dukes Hotel LondonWord on the street is that the best dry martini in town can be found at Dukes Bar, the sophisticated hang-out in St. James's Place, where Ian Fleming himself allegedly had the inspiration for the classic line "shaken not stirred." A metropolitan crowd heads to the chic London hotel for nightly cocktails. And now you can learn to make the perfect martini at this famous hotel bar with Martini Masterclasses taught by the skilled barman. You'll hear the stories behind each classic cocktail before trying your hand at mixing your own. After perfecting your mixing skills, you'll sit back, drink in hand, to nibble some canapés in Dukes Bar. Upon your departure, you'll also get a drink voucher for your next visit. Priced from GBP 75 per person, the classes will be held 2-4 pm on the following dates: Saturday June 27, Saturday July 25, and Saturday August 29.
