Mad about Alice in Wonderland: The Mad Hatter’s Afternoon Tea at London’s Sanderson Hotel

Tim Burton's new film is a sensation, beating out Avatar in gross sales receipts over the weekend. And now lucky Londoners can partake in a whimsical, Alice in Wonderland-inspired Afternoon Tea at the Sanderson Hotel this month. The menu is enough to make us want to hop over to England (that, and the falling value of the British pound). The menu features pineapple lollipops that change temperature in your mouth, Queen of Hearts teacakes, rainbow-colored finger sandwiches, and a hazelnut and passion fruit tart topped with White Rabbit's pocket watch. The sexy hotel-- part of Morgans Hotel Group-- has surreal interiors designed by Philippe Starck, blending "wit, magic and surprise"-- a bit like Alice in Wonderland, we might say.
