Check out the Dorchester’s Award-Winning New Spa in London

March 1, 2010| By:Mary Winston Nicklin

The Dorchester Spa, London

Since The Dorchester unveiled its glamorous new spa last summer, it's been turning heads in London. Most recently it was voted "Favourite UK Hotel Spa 2010" by the readers of Conde Nast Traveller (UK). After $5.5 million and a complete transformation, The Dorchester Spa emerged to become a destination spa in Europe, exuding 1930s Art Deco glamor. The centerpiece in this gorgeous space is a chandelier made of 75,000 South Pacific white pearls. Facilities include nine spacious treatments rooms including two double suites, a mani-pedi suite, a relaxation room (pictured), salon, and gentlemen's barber shop. Guests can indulge in signature facials by Vaishaly, spa treatments by European skincare brand Kerstin Florian along with Aromatherapy Associates. With the spoiling "Spa and Stay" package, starting from £595 in a Superior Double Room, you can "detox or retox, treat or retreat" with overnight accommodations, English breakfast for two, a 55 minute aromatherapy massage for each guest, two glasses of Champagne and a Smythson notebook.
