The Standard High Line
A sleek 18-story tower rising above the High Line urban park (a former elevated train track), The Standard High Line, NYC hotel in the Chelsea neighborhood, offers panoramic Hudson River and city views. Within the hotel, there are multiple public spaces including a German beer garden on the ground floor, Le Bain rooftop discotheque, an outdoor public plaza with rotating art installations and an ice rink in the winter, plus the legendary Top of the Standard. There's also the award-winning Standard Grill, which combines a traditional steakhouse brasserie with new American cuisine.

The hotel's 338 contemporary guest rooms and suites all feature floor-to-ceiling windows with city or river views, large flat-screen TVs, Bluetooth audio speakers, mood lighting, overstocked minibars, and beds with Italian sheets and down pillows. Bathrooms have rain showers with natural light from large windows overlooking the city, plus custom bath products, and hooded robes.

There is an array of public spaces within the hotel. For dining, there's The Standard Grill offering modern American cuisine in a Steakhouse-style setting, For casual dining, The Living Room Café and the Standard Plaza Outdoor Café (during the summer) are open daily. For laid-back dining and fun, The Standard Biergarten sits under the High Line, with a street-level traditional open-air German beer garden environment that is open during the summer and glass-enclosed during the winter, serving German fare such as sausages, pretzels and beer, plus Ping-Pong.
