The Academy Hotel

The Academy is a charming collection of five Georgian Town Houses nestling together in the heart of London's historic Bloomsbury. Completely refurbished during the first half of 2003, the Academy now boasts 49 individual guest rooms and suites all designed to reflect style and warmth. Some feature distinctive split-level bathrooms and free standing claw foot baths.

The Boardroom is a popular venue for smaller meetings of up to 14 delegates or perfect for an intimate reception or dinner. The room benefits from plenty of natural daylight and is formally laid as an elegant boardroom. The Boardroom leads onto the Conservatory Lounge and Garden making it an ideal setting for summer cocktail receptions and small wedding parties.

The Alchemy restaurant is a haven of contemporary comfort, where guests can enjoy a leisurely breakfast. The menu includes a freshly baked continental buffet, or the ultimate traditional English breakfast.With Tottenham Court Road, Oxford Street, Soho and Covent Garden all within a few minutes walk, the Alchemy Bar is the ideal meeting point. Deep cushioned sofas, small private corners and friendly staff, give the bar a very relaxed atmosphere.
