Excellent

Excellent boutique hotel. Good for sightseeing with nearby parking areas. Great rooms and fantastic service. Awesome vibe. Great pool.

An exclusive destination at the heart of the French Riviera in the heart of a gorgeous 8-hectare garden, the 76 rooms and suites, entirely revamped in 2021, all have a private outdoor area and are distributed among nine authentic Provençal bastides.

In a two-hectare park with century-old olive trees on the doorstep of Saint-Paul-de-Vence, Le Mas de Pierre overlooks hills and valleys. Provencal, romantic or colonial villas and rooms are hidden behind the red tiles and white stone of the bastides. As soon as you cross the threshold, you will discover dressers, chests of drawers and pedestal tables lovingly selected from antique dealers.

The restaurant menu sings of the delights of Provence -its peas, its cocoa beans, its herbs, the very first asparagus. Other delights: a musical pool, a spa and a sumptuous greenhouse with orchids. Le Mas de Pierre is a member of Relais & Chateaux.

Location Summary
Le Mas de Pierre is 20 minutes from the Nice Cote d’Azur international airport and 30 minutes from the Cannes Mandelieu airport.

Impelled by the sunlight and fertility of the land near the Mediterranean, the village of Saint-Paul was established during the 11th century. The hilltop village became a royal city in 1418, and was known for its military and administrative importance that led to the construction during the Renaissance of its fortifications, which tower over the horizon and are listed as historic monuments. In memory of the 20th-century painters, screenwriters, movie directors and French or international stars that have walked the city’s streets; a walk through the maze of cobbled streets is a must for visitors. Saint-Paul’s undeniably rich heritage includes its famous fountain, its collegiate church and boutchin (a boules ritual).

Breathtaking views, exceptional lighting, Provencal authenticity and bucolic terroir products make Saint-Paul a prestigious site that attracts artists, visitors and old-stone architecture enthusiasts.
