Situated in the heart of the city on the quiet Salzach promenade, the Hotel Sacher Salzburg is the city’s Grand Hotel, offering an impressive view of the Hohensalzburg fortress. The 113 rooms and suites at the hotel are all unique, yet they have in common the same aesthetic of historic elegance combined with modern technology that characterizes the entire hotel. The owner, Elisabeth Gürtler has given each room a personal touch with her own special arrangement of historic works of art, antiques, silk-lined walls and elaborate carpets.
