Set among 60 acres of remote South African wilderness, this sprawling complex built in the crater of an extinct volcano is a wonderland destination where opulence in the bush takes on new meaning. The jewel property in the Sun City resort, the Palace boasts interiors with hand-carved walls, bespoke furnishings and ceilings that depict a classic African landscape. Outside, the imitation sea and palm fringe beach, Valley of Waves, includes a 5,600-square-meter wave pool, waterslides, sway bridge and Botanical Garden trails. A sense of adventure prevails at the 18-hole Lost City Golf Course, which features a crocodile-filled pond. There is also a chance to see the Big Five on safari tours at the adjoining Pilanesberg National Park.

The neighboring Pilanesberg National Game Park is South Africa's third largest game reserve and home to the famed Big 5 wildlife.

One of South Africa's premier golf destinations, the resort features two championship golf courses and the Gary Player Country Club.

From Jhb Intl Airport- Follow The R24- Johannesburg Signs. From The R24 Take The N3/ N1- Pretoria. Continue Along The N1- Roodepoort/bloemfontein- Until You Reach The William Nicol Offramp- Take This Offramp And Turn Right Across The Free Way. Continue Along William Nicol- Keep To The Right. At The Next Intersection- Cedar Road- Turn Right. Continue Along Cedar Road Until You Reach A T-junction. Turn Left Then Right At The Next Road- About 200mtrs. Continue Until You Reach A T-junction/ Turn Right Again. This Is The Lanseria/broederstroom Road. Continue Along This Road Until You Reach A T-junction. Turn Left Towards Froederstroom. Continue Along This Road/ Past The Pecanwood Golf Estate. About 2km After Pecanwood Turn Right/ Signpost- Sun City- And Cross A Single Rail Road Track. Continue Along This Road/ Crossing The Dam And Turn Right At The T-junction. Continue For About 5km Until You Reach A 4-way Stop. You Will Have A Filling Station On Your Right And A Curio Market On Your Left. Turn Left At The 4-way Stop And Continue With This Road Until You Reach A Road To Your Right This Signposted- Bakubung/ Kwa Maritane/ Sun City. Take This Road To The Right And Continue Along This Road For About 80km To Sun City. Sun City Will Be On Your Right Hand Side.
