Location Summary
Playa Conchal is located in Cabo Velas, in Costa Rica’s Guanacaste Province. Featuring gorgeous views of the Pacific, this beach is just south of Playa Brasilito and Playa Flamingo, and a short taxi ride from Tamarindo. The exotic 4-kilometer Playa Conchal beach owes its name to its unique sand, comprising millions of finely crushed seashells, and was awarded the Blue Flag eco-label for its cleanliness. Aquatic activities enjoyed here include fishing, snorkeling, marine life observation, deep-sea fishing, and scuba diving. Near this renowned beach are beautiful national parks and nature reserves. Local weather and water temperatures are enjoyable throughout the year, with sunlight lasting more than half the day in winter and spring months.

Directions to Hotel
From Daniel Oduber International Airport: Take a right onto road number 21 when you depart the Liberia Airport. Continue straight ahead. Pass the town of Filadelfia and drive 5 kilometers until you get to a town named Belen. Pass a park and turn right at the intersection with a gas station. Follow the signs to Tamarindo and Conchal beaches. After Belen the next town is called Santa Ana. Drive past the park and turn left at the T intersection. Continue straight past the Monkey Park on your right. Keep driving, climbing and descending a hill, to Huacas. Turn left to Tamarindo at the Y intersection with a bakery in one corner, and a drugstore on the street in front. Keep right and continue for about more 300m. Turn right following the sign to Conchal. After 3 kilometers, you will see the resort entrance to your left. Please turn and enter the property.

From Juan Santamaria International Airport: Leave the airport and follow the signs towards San Ramon on the Pan American Highway North toward Liberia/Peñas Blancas. Turn left (west) at the 4 way traffic signal in Liberia (Burger King). Follow the signs for Nicoya, Puente la Amistad and Santa Cruz. Pass the Liberia Airport. When the road ends, turn right. Pass Nicoya and Santa Cruz. Drive into Belen and turn right when you see the signs for Tamarindo, Playa Conchal. The next town is called Santa Ana. Drive past the park and turn left at the T intersection. Continue straight past the Monkey Park on your right. Keep driving, climbing and descending a hill, to Huacas. Keep right and continue for about more 300m. Turn right following the sign to Conchal.
