Guests can experience the thrill of horse riding by the Atlantic Ocean where the resort's equestrian partner provides each guest with either personalized one to one training or group lessons. There's also two on-site fishing ponds where guests can engage in fly fishing for trout in the peaceful surrounds of the West Clare countryside.

The White Horses Spa at Trump Doonbeg is named after a local metaphor for the way in which waves break on Doughmore Strand; they look like the manes and tails of horses crashing onto the beach's sandy expanse, hence the phrase ‘the white horses are breaking on Doughmore. The spa extends its association with nature through the use of naturally-sourced skin care products manufactured by Voya, a County Sligo company, from seaweed and natural salts. Within the spa there are a range of amenities such as a Ladies and Men's locker rooms, a steam area and sauna, and deep soaking whirlpools with thermal mineral salts to ease muscles. The three dry treatment rooms are equipped for massage and beauty treatments. The wet treatment room features a splash shower for body treatments.
