Location Summary
Puma Lodge is located between the Río Los Cipreses National Reserve in the Region of Libertador Bernardo O´Higgins, and the Argentinean border.
Directions to Hotel
To get to Puma Lodge with a private vehicle we recommend that it should be an SUV or any type of 4x4 vehicle. Transfers can be arranged. From Santiago take the 5 Sur freeway towards the city of Rancagua. Once you arrive in Rancagua you take the “Carretera del Cobre” road, continuation of the axis formed by Millan Avenue (street that borders the founding plain to the south). At km0 ther is a roundabout with a monument to former president Eduardo Frei Montalva, who was in office when this road was built. After passing by Machali, take the route towards Gultro, 2km south of the bridge that crosses the Cachapoal River. When you get to Gultro, take the detour to Termas de Cauquenes. At km 25 you will encounter the first fork in the road. Take a right towards Coya. Once in Coya, turn left on the first block with the mini roundabout. Cross through the town through a long narrow road surrounded by houses built on the overlooking hills. At km 33.5 you will keep on advancing through a dirt road leading towards Puma Loge. Stay on this road heading towards Chacayes. At km 40.7 you will reach another detour, keep going straight towards Pangal. At km 56 you will reach another fork in the road where you should take a left and keep on going.. km 65: Arrival at Puma Lodge.
