The Lodge and Spa at Pico Bonito

The Lodge and Spa at Pico Bonito seamlessly combines nature and luxurious comfort and is located on the Caribbean coast of Honduras near La Ceiba.

The rainforest here is home to over 420 species of birds, tropical amphibians and exotic mammals such as kinkajous, peccaries, coatis, monkeys, tyras and jaguars. Trained guides take guests hiking through the rainforest, whitewater rafting, horseback riding, boating through a manatee reserve and snorkeling along the world's second largest barrier reef.

This Honduran rainforest eco-lodge is located within a safe, secluded environment. Cabins are approximately 400 square feet with private bathroom with shower, louvered and screened windows, two ceiling fans, and private veranda with hammock, located in this rainforest hotel in Honduras. Cabins also have a CD player, alarm clock with radio, safe, iPod dock and coffee maker with Honduran organic coffee.

Itzama is The Lodge’s full service, newly renovated restaurant and bar where guests dine on Mesoamerican cuisine. Using fresh seafood and locally grown herbs and vegetables, the chef recreates local Honduran specialties including coconut milk curry seafood soup and medallions of beef dusted with coffee and cacao.

The Spa at Pico Bonito, which opened January 2016, is an all-natural spa set amongst the rainforest along the Corinto River. A truly peaceful retreat, the lush foliage and sound of water flowing downstream provide the perfect backdrop for relaxation and rejuvenation. Circular treatment cabins were built on stilts to maintain the natural energies of the earth and preserve the flow of the surrounding nature and wildlife.
