Reservations must be made through Five Star Alliance under the “5 Star Signature Package." For the main resort and beach village bookings: full breakfast is provided for two daily and a $100 Food and Beverage credit is included once per room, per stay. Upgrade (excludes Beach Village and Shore House), early check-in, and late check-out are subject to availability at time of check-in and departure.

Situated on 28 beautiful oceanfront acres on Coronado Island, the Hotel del Coronado is San Diego's premiere oceanfront beach resort. From its scenic locale just across the bay from downtown, The Del provides easy access to a wide variety of entertaining and engaging San Diego activities.
Directions to Hotel
From San Diego International Airport/Lindbergh Field: Exit the airport by turning left onto North Harbor Drive. Travel approximately 1.4 miles, and then turn left onto West Grape Street. Travel approximately 1/2 mile, and look for the Interstate 5 South on-ramp, accessible from the far- right lane. Merge onto Interstate 5 freeway, traveling south. Travel approximately three miles (through Downtown San Diego) until you see the California 75 - Coronado Bay Bridge exit, accessible from the far-right lane. Merge onto California 75 Coronado Bay Bridge. (No toll is required.) After driving over Coronado Bay Bridge, stay to the left on Third Street. Travel approximately 0.10 mile on Third Street, and turn left onto Orange Avenue. Follow Orange Avenue approximately two miles to the Hotel del Coronado. The resort main entrance is just past R. H. Dana Place to the right.

Inspired by its beachfront setting, Hotel del Coronado's signature restaurant 1500 OCEAN spotlights California Coastal cuisine with fresh local ingredients. Start with a craft cocktail at the Sunset Bar overlooking the Pacific, and then venture inside for an epicurean adventure of seasonal dishes paired with exceptional wines. Relax on the umbrella-dotted patio overlooking the sea at Sheerwater. Feast on fresh local seafood, delicious smoked meats with house made barbecue sauces and slaws, sandwiches and salads, plus an expansive breakfast buffet and a special kids menu. ENO is an artisan pizzeria and wine bar in an energetic setting reminiscent of a neighborhood wine bar. Beach
The Hotel del Coronado is California's premiere oceanfront beach resort. The property is located on 28 beachfront acres. Del Beach offers luxurious lounge chairs with cushions and terry covers, fringed umbrellas, half-moon cabanettes, and plush day beds for full day rental. Del Beach also offers food and drink service, including salads, sandwiches, and cocktails. There are recreational activities on the beach, such as an interactive kids' play area with kids' toys.
Biking Touring
Seven speeds, tandems, kids; bikes ,or even a four-person surrey are available to rent at PeDels. Navigate a six-mile trail for a scenic coastal ride around Coronado Island or cruise south along the Silver Strand.
Boating
Adjacent to The Del on Glorietta Bay, the Boathouse offers rentals and instruction for sailboats, speedboats, water skis, jet skis, paddleboats, and kayaks.
Golfing
Tee-times for the Coronado Golf Course, or for any of the 80 golf courses in the San Diego area, can be arranged by the Concierge.
Sailing
Sunset Sailing: Watch the sun dip into the Pacific in an explosion of color as you sail around Glorietta Bay in a 22' to 36' sailboat.

Recommended Rooms
Junior Suite Ocean View: These large guestrooms are located exclusively in the original Victorian building and are available with one king bed or two queen beds. Junior suites includes a large open space, and many have a queen size pullout sofa bed in the sitting area. These rooms have a view of the gorgeous Pacific Ocean. Because of the unique charm of the historic Victorian Building, these rooms vary in size and layout (some include balconies). The decor blends our historic architecture with subtle seaside accents.
