Excellent hotel. Great location.

The Grand Hotel de la Minerve is housed in a magnificent mansion dating from the 1600's. Completely renovated to better meet the needs of its modern, sophisticated clientele, the hotel has retained its noble, elegant lines and the atmosphere of a comfortable, welcoming aristocratic home. The magnificent reception area with its stained glass ceiling is a welcoming oasis from the bustling streets.

All 135 rooms and suites are outfitted for comfort and convenience. All rooms feature marble bathrooms with Etro bath amenities, double glazed windows, flat screen televisions, telephones, movies on demand, safes, and mini-bars. Additional amenities, like a welcome gift and Bulgari toiletries, are included with the four suites, each named for notable former residents, the writers Stendhal, Herman Melville, George Sand, and Count Vittorio Alfieri. Also on site is a fitness room, and there is Wi-Fi throughout property.

Throughout the year guests can enjoy breakfast, lunch. and dinner in the spectacular Minerva Roof Garden, which offers an incomparable view of the Eternal City.

Directions to Hotel
From Fiumicino Airport (FCO) distance 35 km, You can reach the Grand Hotel de la Minerve by taxi, by train via the Leonardo Express leaving every 30 minutes from the airport and arriving directly at the Termini railway station. From there you can take a taxi or the bus (no. 40, 70 or 64).

From Ciampino Airport (CIA) distance 25 km, You can reach the Grand Hotel de la Minerve by taxi or by bus to Ciampino train station, then by train (leaving every 15 minutes) to Termini station. From there you can take a taxi or the bus (no. 40, 70 or 64). By bus to Anagnina and than the Metro (A line - direction Battistini. Stop at Stazione Termini).
