Chateau Mcely is a five-star eco chic castle hotel, the first and only one of its kind in the Czech Republic. The quality of service, beauty of the interiors and impressive setting in the surrounding countryside were conceived for the most demanding of clients. Location Summary
Village of Mcely, in the midst of St. George Forest with breath-taking vistas, in the heart of old Central Bohemia. Less than an hour drive from Prague.

Directions to Hotel
Prague Airport is the main terminus for international travelers coming to Mcely. You can then rent a car or if you let us know your flight details, we can arrange a private chauffeured car to meet you at the airport and take you straight here. We are approximately 2 hours by public transport. From Prague Masarykovo station, you take a train to Nymburk where you can then catch a local bus to Mcely village. Let us know when you are on the bus and we will send a car to collect you from the village.

Sports available at Chateau Mcely include volleyball, croquet, cycling, horseshoes, horse riding, hiking, jogging, team ropes course.

Fine Dining On Site
The Plate Hall is so called because the walls are lined with oversized ceramic plates designed by Oto Blaha. Here you will experience our elegant dining and relaxing atmosphere calculated to maximise your enjoyment of our fresh local and organic fare and superb range of wines. The cuisine is international and traditional Bohemian; with a house specialty in game dishes. Menus change daily, giving you a wide variety during your stay. We cater also for vegetarians! The restaurant (including the Salon du The) has a capacity of 50 diners, however for larger or private dining we can utilise other rooms in the Chateau.

Child Programs
Families are always welcome at the Chateau Mcely. Please let us know your requirements in advance if at all possible. Babysitting services, children's menus, cribs, games and toys, and family oriented activities are all available.

Bohemia has a long tradition of spa treatments and wellness that has appealed to all classes for centuries. We draw our professionals from some of the famous spa towns such as Karlovy Vary (Carlsbad), Mariankse Lazne, Trebon and others.

Paradise Golf Club Resort - Challenge your skills at a nearby 9-hole course called Dymac, and visit their classic golf shop.
Hunting
Jabkenice Game Park - 1200 acres of stunning forest, 60 acres of fish-filled lakes and ponds, 400 fallow deer, flocks of duck and pheasant - adjacent and linked to Chateau Mcely by the NA HRABECI Path. Inviting both for romantic strolls and adventurous hiking, bicycling and nostalgic horse and carriage rides.
Recommended Rooms
Our bedrooms are as unique as the Chateau. We have 24 individual rooms and suites, each with its own style and name; and a meticulous attention to detail and design. It's almost like staying in 24 different hotels - you'll want to return time and again to sample them all! (And yes, for regular customers we will reserve a specific room/suite if feasible). Some rooms sleep 3 adults. Movies. Each room is equipped with a TV and DVD player. We have an interesting collection of DVDs which you are welcome to borrow.
