Following an extensive renovation in 2018, the legendary property reopened with a unique blend of timeless elegance and contemporary sophistication. Leading designers and master craftsmen transformed the hotel's graceful heritage interior to a new level of refinement with meticulously restored details infused with new world flair and glamour.

Opened in 1951, Infante Sagres is named after Prince Henry the Navigator, initiator of the Age of Discovery and the early Portuguese voyages of exploration. The vision of its creator, the entrepreneur, and philanthropist Delfim Ferreira, was to endow the city with a luxury hotel on par with the finest in Europe. Housed in a historic listed building, it contains a wealth of decorative features inclusion ironwork, carved wood details, and stained glass panels from the workshop of Ricardo Leone.

Refurbished to their former glory, the hotel's 85 rooms and suite offer a unique and refined environment. There are six different room types available with spectacular views over the historic city of Porto, each with air conditioning, king size beds, flat-screen satellite TVs, and safety deposit boxes.
