Location Summary
Belmond Maroma Resort and Spa is located in the state of Quintana Roo, along the Mexican Caribbean at the Riviera Maya. Providing a beachfront location directly on Maroma Beach, Belmond Maroma Resort and Spa sits on a jungle preserve measuring roughly 25 acres. The property is about a 30-minute drive south from Cancún International airport and Playa del Carmen is a 20-minute drive.
Directions to Hotel
By car from Cancun International Airport: Follow the signs leading to Playa del Carmen and highway 307. Once there, drive straight ahead for almost 30 minutes. After about 20 minutes, you will go over a bridge crossing a small town called Puerto Morelos. Once off that bridge, continue driving for, approximately, 10 minutes. On the way, you will notice several big hotels to your left; the two hotels closest to us are Vidanta and right after that, the Iberostar Hotel. After driving by the Vidanta, switch to your left lane, if you are not on it already, as you are getting closer to the exit, where you will need to make a U-turn. You will see a green sign reading “Secrets Maroma”, up ahead to your left a restaurant called Piano Café or the image of a large peacock and a large red Burger stop sign and restaurant. That is where you need to make the U-turn to your left on Highway 307. (As if you were returning to Cancun). As you are making the U-turn, pull all the way to your right, take the safety lane, and slowly continue about 100 meters until you come to a wooden gate and a palapa roof white structure. Please note that on your right side, once off the bridge, you will be able to see four signs with the distance in kilometers: 10 KM, 5KM 1KM and 100 meters, leading you to the hotel. These are small signs on the road. The entrance is very discreet, displaying a wooden gate and a wooden sign with our logo on the wall. At the first security booth, staff will require your name. After going through the gate, follow the 1.5km gravel road without deviating, until you reach the second security booth, another, yet larger palapa roof white structure. From there, take the access road to the left, leading directly to the lobby.
