There are three on-site dining options, including The Grill at 126 with ocean views, seafood, and signature selections. El Paseo, is the property's extension of La Quinta Agenda with culinary experiences, authentic Mexican kiosks, and pathways to the pool and beach areas. While La Cocina offers Mexican & Caribbean cuisine for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Inspired by the region's famous Cenotes—natural underground swimming rivers, the hotel's Cenote Spa has eight treatment rooms, a variety of therapeutic treatments, and hydrotherapy area. Along with an 82-foot lap pool, and a 24-hour fitness center offering cardio machines and strength training equipment.

For recreation, the beachfront resort has three infinity pools and a children's pool. There's also bicycles, and the Tortuguita Camp Hyatt & Teen Arcade with supervised activities for children and teens. The Grand Hyatt Playa del Carmen Resort has more than 15,000 square feet of flexible event spaces, including 18 meeting rooms. There is also a beach and ocean front gazebo for weddings, and a bridal suite.
